3 Quick & Easy to Make Holiday Drinks

Um, can you believe that Christmas is literally two days away?! Cause I sure can’t.

If you’re still scrambling to put together some delicious holiday drinks for your holiday gatherings, I’ve (begrudingly…HA!) tried three different alcoholic beverages that would work for ANY get-together. Did I mention that they’re super easy and quick to make?

Christmas White Wine Sangria

This is the easiest sangria I’ve ever made, and you can customize it to fit your taste or your guests. The recipe below makes about 4-6 servings.

  • 1 bottle of white wine (I suggest a Pinot Grigio or a Moscato depending on how sweet you want the sangria)
  • 1 MacIntosh apple
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white grape juice
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 can of club soda (or Sprite)
  • Few sprigs of rosemary
  • Roughly chop the apples. You can make the chunks as big or small as you prefer.
  • Measure out about a cup or one large handful (I used two hands) of fresh cranberries
  • Combine the sugar, wine, grape juice, & fruit into a large pitcher
  • Top with club soda or sprite & stir until most of the sugar dissolves
  • Add in a large sprig of rosemary & place in fridge to chill for at least an hour.
  • Fill your wine glasses and add a small sprig of rosemary in each one!

Pomegranate Champagne

The Pomegranate Champagne is the easiest to make in this list. It takes a simple glass of bubbly to the next level of holiday spirit with its red and green ingredients!

  • 1 bottle of your fave champagne
  • 1 pomegranate
  • A few sprigs of rosemary
  • Cut the pomegranate in half and scoop out the seeds
  • Add about 15-20 pomegranate seeds to your champagne glass
  • Top off with the champagne & pop in a sprig of rosemary

*Go ahead and add some of the juice from the pomegranate to your glass! It sweetens it and adds more color.

Peppermint White Russian

Kahlua is my all-time fave liquor and White Russians are my all-time fave drink. Throw in some peppermint flavored vodka instead of non-flavored and we’ve got a party! The combo makes this drink taste just like an iced peppermint mocha. You gotta try it.

  • 2 shots of Kahlua liquor
  • 1 shot of Smirnoff Peppermint Vodka
  • Milk or Cream/Half-and-Half
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • 2 Candy Canes
  • Crush up 1 candy cane & rim the edge of your glass with the crushed peppermint
  • Fill your glass or cocktail mixer with ice
  • Mix the 2 shots of Kahlua & 1 shot of Smirnoff Peppermint Vodka along with your chosen amount of milk or cream
  • Shake or stir and throw a candy cane in there!

See? These drinks are quick and easy to prepare and make with simple ingredients that you’ll still be able to find at the last minute. Now enjoy some adorable photos I snapped of my kitties during this photoshoot 🙂

Comment and let me know which holiday drink you’re looking forward to trying! Christmas Alpaca says he can’t wait for the sangria…

Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday!!!
